Biography

Charlie Bell has served as a member of our board of directors since October 2026. Mr. Bell has served as Executive Vice President of Security, Compliance, Identity and Management at Microsoft Corporation since September 2021. Prior to Microsoft, Mr. Bell spent more than 20 years at Amazon.com, Inc. and Amazon Web Services, Inc. (“AWS”), most recently as Senior Vice President of AWS from March 1998 to August 2021, where he led core software engineering, utility computing operations and infrastructure scaling. Earlier in his career, Mr. Bell was a software engineer on the Space Shuttle program for nearly a decade and subsequently worked on database technology at Oracle Corporation. He founded ServerTechnologies Corp., an e-commerce software-as-a-service company, and served as its Chief Executive Officer until its acquisition by Amazon in 1998. Mr. Bell holds a bachelor of science in business administration and computer science from California State University, Fullerton.
